The Kelley Auction Family
Here at Kelley Auctions we consider ourselves and our customers family. Let us take the time to introduce you to our team of professionals.
CEO and Founder
James Kelley (#2470) Auctioneer and founder James Kelley(license#2470) a lifelong resident of Massachusetts, is well respected and known in the community. He has created a company that thrives due to the closeknit family atmosphere and professional integrity. Despite his physical limitations as a quadrapalegic, Jim Kelley can often be found personally calling the extensive list of buyers/sellers just to insure satisfaction. This has resulted in increased local business contacts and loyal customer relationships.
James Kelley has been spotlighted in many television programs and newspaper articles. In pursuing his dream to become an auctioneer, he suffered a major setback while involved in a car accident. This tragedy did not stop him from opening the doors to his very own auction house in 2004. The inspiration and motivation for the ever successful business known as Kelley Auctions comes from none other than the CEO himself.

Michael Lynch, USPAP Certified Appraiser Michael Lynch began his interest in collecting at an early age. He and his brother had been collecting coins for several years when in 1956 they discovered a 1955 double die Lincoln Cent in circulation. In addition to being a REAL coin enthusiast from the point in time he frequented flea markets, auctions and white elephant sales with his aunts. By the time he was 15 he was buying and selling bric-a-brack, furniture, coins and precious metals. Upon return from a tour of duty with the US Army in the mid 1960's Michael and his brother established a successful coin business which they still operate. In 1970 Michael made a significant switch to buying and selling ceramics and collectibles. At that time he began exhibiting his wares at major coin and antiques shows. He has also exhibited at major events including those in all the New England states, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Baltimore, Chicago, Miami and in between. He also exhibited in Austria, Germany, and for 2 decades regularly in England. He owned and operated an antiques group shop and rental property (Lyndew Ching Reality). He is a contributor to several of the current price guides on ceramics and is a founding member and the former secretary of the NE Chapter of the Royal Doulton Collectors Society.
Michael has a Bachelors Degree in buisness managment with Post Graduate work in computer science and managment.
